Lightning Rod Special is on the rise! 

After winning the Wolfson Award for an Evolving Theater Company at the Philadelphia Barrymore Awards, our newest work, The Appointment, was named BEST THEATER OF 2019 by the New York Times. It was also named a New York Times and Time Out New York Critics’ Pick. 

Despite our hopes to ride this momentum in 2020, the Covid pandemic has delivered a costly blow to our operations and industry, all but shutting down in-person work for what will likely be over a year. As we face the immense hardships of this crisis, your support can make a powerful difference for our company and the artists we serve. Our newest stage work SPEECH, a poisonous love letter to cancel culture, has been postponed until 2021, and LRS has decided to create original audio works from quarantine until we can safely gather again.
